TimeOut4Africa plans to adopt a primary school in Minna, Nigeria. This project will help provide the school girls with STEM materials that will promote innovation and creativity.

Challenge

Many of the schools in Minna, Nigeria are underfunded resulting in kids having limited access to school materials and equipment. In addition to basic school materials and equipment like desks and chairs, science and technology supplies are often missing from the class environment.

Solution

This project will allow TimeOut4Africa to provide assistance to schools by providing basic science and technology materials like science exploration kits, tables, laptops, lego blocks, keva planks, k’nexs and snap circuit discovery kits.

Long-Term Impact

Providing the school with basic STEM supplies will aid in creating an environment that promotes innovation and creativity. Additionally, proving basic STEM supplies would help create an environment for students to explore scientific issues and think critically about the world around them.
